Balochistan: One BRP leader reaches home, another goes missing


BRP leader Dr Bashir Azeem reached his home after being kept in a dark underground cell for over a month. Another senior and aged leader of BRP Qadir Qalandrani goes missing.

Sibi: Central general secratery of Baloch Repuclican Party (BRP) Dr Bashir Azeem was kidnapped by Pakistani agencies from Quetta on 7th of February and was abondended in Karachi on 31st of March.

Talking on phone from his home in Sibi Dr Bashir Azeem said that he was kept in a secret underground cell and he has not seen sun or any light all this period. He said he was alone in that cell, it was dark, quite and he has not seen any other person there expect those who used to investigate and torture him.

According to Dr Bashir Azeem's statement those who interrogated him he had never seen their faces because they were wearing masks at all times.

Dr Bashir Azeem 76, said that though he has not seen those who interrogated him but he knew who these people were and what they wanted from him. He said he has been very ill while he was in custody but his moral is still very high.

Meanwhile another senior leader of BRP Mr Qadir Qalandrani went missing yesterday. According to sources he was picked up (by Pakistani agencies) from his home on 02-04-2009 and taken to some undisclosed location. His party leaders and family members have not been informed about his whereabouts as yet.
