Sharm el Shaikh meeting; echo sound of a file full of allegations but lacks evidence..!

Adversity never appears alone; any step taken in presence of this 'virus' may cause only harm. Pakistan's current situation about Baloch issue is exactly the same as the above example. It apologizes, people ask them the guarantee of not repeating those redundancy. Lacking answer to these questions they start to lush and talk about hitting the Baloch, people ask them severely; till when this hitting be continued? Beginning of this can be digested which was started by hypocrisies of rulers but what will be the end if this 'Hit' continue till last remaining Baloch speaking of freedom and what if this really happens and the census of freedom seekers turn out to be in a huge number rejecting the numbers shown in government claim, so till when this chain of killings continue? Talks with who? Lacking answers to such sensitive questions they therefore tell stories of nowhere and waste time. Outcome of this in today's current situation is in front of all. Regardless of being a nuclear power, Pakistan is in Top 10 list of fail states in the world accompanied by Somalia, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Chad, Republic of Congo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Pakistan is among these with the most glory, Now what could a country of this value make the world fulfill any of its commitments? Conjecturing this fact is not difficult because all the matters in this world are solved by bilateral interests and the fact of showing seriousness in past incidents of serious matters, but Pakistan's adversity, Pakistan is not authentic in any matter all over the world. Regardless being a nuclear power it is dependant for wheat, its non satisfactory past, present and future are the reason of bringing up unsafe political and economical crisis in the entire world making it the cause of its gitter.
The pressure of this external gitter has brought very trouble for the rulers and above this its internal anarchy are additional, making the rulers nearly paralyzed. This is the reason they are repeatedly making mistakes. Whereas pro-liberation Balochs are seemed to be very hopeful and satisfied in every way.
In similar state of worries and anxiousness, Pakistan's PM Yusuf Raza Gilani handed over the file of complaints against Baloch to Indian PM Manmohan Singh. Many of Pakistani journalists and pro-government intellectuals quoted this as a great success for their country but reality is way opposite of this, as they say 'God is with them who have no one' similarly the tricks of lively are turning against it and are getting in favor of Baloch.
1. Mentioning the topic of Baloch national struggle in Sharm el Shaikh, Yusuf Raza Gilani has accepted the existence of BLA, BRA, BLF and other Baloch resistance movements. Whereas Gilani himself along with other government officials has kept on saying that there is no freedom struggle in Balochistan nor any Baloch resistance movement ever existed. Following Islamabad, Governor of Balochistan recently issued a similar statement.
2. Second point which is a plus point for Baloch national struggle is that the world has got the opportunity to take interest and regular debate about Baloch case. The matter which was just on whisper stage so far, now has become so important that it has become Pakistan's problem number one.
3. Third benefit, people abroad who were confused about Baloch case, now that this case has gained solid gravity that it can become the reason of any change in this region effecting Pakistan's geography. Now Pakistan's confession has forced those people to revise their thoughts and doubts about Baloch and now their doubts will turn into beliefs that Baloch is ready as a nation which can play a great role in any change in this region.
4. Fourth benefit, internally in Balochistan people who had doubt on this movement (pro-parliament Baloch political parties are also included) and in other parts of Pakistan the period of surface interests opinion about Balochistan which was increasing or the period of calling this issue as a surface issue and the issue of Tribal heads has ended. Now this debate will reveal government propagandas and the real emerging face of Baloch national struggle will appear.
5. Fifth benefit, answering the references and allegations of Pakistan about this issue, super powers and international organizations will quest and research more and more about this issue and will hear Baloch nation's own point of view. In such situation when arguments or proofs from both sides come forward then it's all benefit of Baloch.
Pakistani rulers handing over Balochistan's complaint based file to India has started the beginning of this. Outwardly, the file given to Manmohan Singh is based on the allegations which were repeatedly heard from government officials stating foreign interference in Balochistan. In this situation when Pakistan states Baloch freedom fighters as its enemy, blames them receiving help from other countries especially India and these allegations have been coming forward since the beginning of this war, so why Pakistan did not feel in 4 to 5 years the need to conclude any concrete proof in this file? This shows clearly that without false allegations it does not have any non reject able proof.
Such allegations are shown very bravely by Pakistani officials in Balochistan governor house or chief minister house where a very few people got the guts of asking the truth and asking any proof or a fewer people want to know more about the issue. Therefore when Awais Ghani, former governor of Balochistan, claims that weapons of billions of rupees were smuggled from Afghanistan to Balochistan but thinking everyone except him is a fool he doesn’t feel to give any source or proof. Similarly from past times till today talks of interference of India, Russia, US, Israel and Afghanistan were continuously brought forward but it (Pakistan) could not bring up even a single proof successfully. It means that the intelligence agencies according to Lashkari Raisani, a ruling party senator, provide false and baseless information to higher authorities which are made base in Islamabad to make policies and act upon them.
Interpreters from governor to central and provincial houses said that Martyred Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was in Afghanistan, India and other places but everyone witnessed the reality on the beginning of 23rd Augusts' ground field which ended after Nawab Bugti's and his colleague's martyrdom on 26th august 2006. Present Federal Interior Minister quoted in front of the world media that John Solecki was held in Kabul near Hamid Karzai's palace but later on John Solecki was found in Mastung area near Quetta. In this lineage he twice accused Brahmdagh Bugti, grandson of Martyr Nawab Akbar Bugti, of kidnapping Mr. Solecki, then four times he changed his statement saying Brahmdagh Bugti was not involved in this abduction, but later on in parliament's in-camera session he said that John Solecki was abducted on Brahmdagh's advice and John Solecki was with Brahmdagh's accompanies. In evidence he showed that Brahmdagh quoting John Solecki as code name of 'the red goat' in a conversation.
In the light of the history of confirming past allegations of Pakistan it can be easily said that Pakistan won't be able to prove any allegations on Balochistan matter, in fact it would see the reaction of this when the whole world will take real interest in this matter and revise the history of allying Pakistan following its redundancy including the killings and genocide Pakistan has committed. The entire world will listen to the stories of Pakistani ruler's military operations and after that apologizing for the operations and again after that repeating the military operations. The division of Baloch nation in pieces by the British, Baloch's own homeland where it was in majority once now has converted into minority and a third and fourth class citizen, and such other realities will be heard by the world. The world will realize Baloch's identity and its thousands of years old history in danger. Then, Pakistani ruler's will get the point that the file which they handed over to India in order to blackmail India so that it stops persisting on action against Hafiz Saeed and other responsible of Mumbai attacks, but here the issue turned opposite to this. Pakistan will have to give Hafiz Saeed and a lot more because it itself invited the world to debate on this issue.
In such, the thing important for Baloch nation is that its leadership can take a great benefit from this opportunity or it may lose this golden chance due to its drowsy carelessness.

UN body quits Balochistan

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees' spokesman told BBC Urdu the decision followed threats made by a Baloch nationalist group.

It has accused the UN of reneging on a deal in April that resulted in the release of a kidnapped UN official.

The UN helps to look 1.8 million Afghan refugees in the neighbouring provinces.

Correspondents say that locally appointed government staff will have to take the place of UN workers.

The UN said it was suspending its services after receiving threats from the Balochistan Liberation United Front (BLUF).

The previously unknown group is said to have accused the UN of welching on a deal reached in April that resulted in the release of an American UNHCR worker after two months as a hostage.

John Solecki was snatched at gunpoint in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, on 2 February. His driver was killed.

Militants from the BLUF took responsibility for the abduction and released him on "humanitarian grounds".

The group had demanded the release of thousands of prisoners it claimed were being held by the government. It now says that pledge has not been fulfilled.

India Didn't Intervene: Khan Of Kalat

Good news on Balochistan? (on its way)

Balochistan On 24 July 2009 Pakistani print and electronic media was dominated by a statement of Pakistan’s interior minister “Rehman Malik” titled “good news on Balochistan in few weeks”. One wonders for what could be the good news. The signs of good news however started appear since 25 July when Pakistan sent a large number of FC men to Makran and other surrounding areas. The FC and other security personal started a stop and search operation in the Makran region on large scales. The occupying forces of Pakistan are reportedly still pouring into Quetta, Khuzdar, Mastung and several other areas.

Also the FC has started a massive operation in Quetta. A house-to-house search is being carried out in several areas. A large number of Baloch students and political activists have been arrested and taken to undisclosed locations. The leader of BWM (Baloch Watan Movement) Mir Qadir Baloch, his son Mir Adil Baloch and a close friend Mr Akram Baloch are also among those arrested from Quetta on night of 26 July. Amirul Mulk Qambarani and two of his brothers have also been arrested from Killi Qambarani. Meanwhile Independent sources reported that several people have been arrested from Hub Choki and Gaddani as well. Today’s newspapers reports from Balochistan say that another eighty people have been arrested from different areas in Quetta only. The FC has set up more check points in different areas in Quetta. Quetta now a day seems more like a concentration camp as the citizens cannot go out fearing the stop and search and possible arrest at the hands of Pakistani security forces. “In other words Balochistan = Palestine and Pakistani soldiers = Israeli soldiers”

Pakistan is planning yet another massive military offensive against Balochistan. The Pakistani media propagandas and provoking statements by IG FC Saleem Nawaz and Rehman malik against Balochistan are evident that Pakistan’s intentions regarding Balochistan are not favourable. It appears Rehman Malik’s good news is yet another military offensive and more arrests, possible killings and other gross human rights violation in Balochistan

India didn't intervene: Khan of Kalat

New Delhi: As Prime Minister Manmohan Singh faces criticism for including Balochistan in the Indo-Pak joint statement, support has poured in from an unusual quarter.

Baloch nationalist leaders have vindicated the PM's stand that India has nothing to hide in Balochistan.

Speaking with CNN-IBN in London, the exiled descendant of the King of Kalat Suleman Khan [Video] said India has not intervened in Balochistan.

“Pakistan wants to show world India has intervened. If there is any help from India, we haven’t seen it. If there was any help from India, our situation wouldn't have been like it is,” he said.

Suicide attacks are against Baloch nature

Noshki:(July 24, 2009) Abducted Sami Baloch’s father Mir Hazar Khan Mengal in a crowded press conference at Noshki press club explained that Sami Baloch is innocent and that Sami is a regular hardworking student of Balochistan University’s Geology Department and due to financial constraints Sami used to give tuitions in order to cover his educational expenditures.

Mr. Hazar Khan further said that Sami Baloch was abducted by the state forces, while he was on his way back to University after giving tuitions, and a false and self created story was made by the Pakistan’s state forces that Sami had suicide jacket and explosives and was planning to target high profiles, Baloch people are facing critical conditions and the situation in Balochistan is deliberately being worsened by state forces.

Mr. Mir Hazar Khan said that Sami Baloch though is a Muslim but do not have extremist views and suicide attacks are against Baloch nature, and the cruelty of state has reached such heights that they are harassing other members of our family as well, and as a senior citizen I demand immediate release of my son from the government as his exams are to be started, his (Sami’s) educational career should not be made dark.

Sami Baloch was abducted on 20thJuly’s night, when he was returning from tuition center to home near Satellite Town Quetta, he was abducted by the Frontier Corps(Pakistani Army). Mr. Sami Baloch is student of M.A. Geology in Balochistan University and he is the member of organizing body of BSO Azaad’s Balochistan University unit. Till today his whereabouts still unknown and it is feared that he, as thousands of other Balochs, is a victim of the brutal torture cells of Pakistan Army.

Pakistan has been using this tactic of claiming Baloch people as religious extremists in order to justify their use of international funds against the Baloch population, so far Pakistan is using the weapons and aid, provided to counter terrorism, against the Baloch people, who are struggling for an Independent Balochistan, where as the Pakistan created terrorists are kept strong enough to threaten the world so that continues funds may be received from the International communities to make Pakistan able to suppress the Baloch cause.

Students, who are thought to be the future of every Nation, are mainly being victimized of Pakistani propaganda, Baloch students are abducted and false accusations are made upon them so that their futures may be ruined and the occupation of Balochistan be prolonged. Baloch Students Organization Azaad, a platform to work for Baloch Independence and International peace is one of the main victims of the state barbarism

Crackdown on Baloch students to obtain forced confessions

After Pakistan’s accusation of Indian involvement in subversive activities with the nationalist movement in Balochistan province, the law enforcement agencies reacted heavily against the students of the province who have sympathies with nationalist movement. The Para-military forces, particularly, the frontier constabulary (FC) started arresting people, keeping them in incommunicado in unknown places. There are reports of arrests of dozens of young persons, but due to poor communication problems, the AHRC was not able to collect all the details. Some cases are as follows;

An activist of the Baloch Student Organisation-BSO (Azaad), Mr. Sami Baloch, was abducted at midnight of July 19 and 20. He was returning home from a tuition center near the Satellite Town of Quetta. He was abducted by Frontier Constabulary, a Para- military force of the Pakistani Army. Mr. Sami Baloch is a M.A. student in Geology in Balochistan University and a member of the organizing body of BSO (Azaad) Balochistan University unit. His whereabouts are still unknown and it is feared that he is undergoing brutal torture in a Pakistani army camp.

In another case, Pakistani intelligence agencies allegedly abducted another Baloch resident. This occurred in front of the Huddah district jail in Quetta, the provincial capital, on the morning of July 16, 2009. According to information received from his family, Fazal Khan Marri, 25, went to visit one of his relatives in the Hudda jail. As he came out of the main gate of the prison, he was abducted by personnel from the Pakistani intelligence agencies in a jeep with no registration number. Fazal Khan Marri is a resident of New Kahan . He is a daily wage earner and the father of two children.

Mr.Fazal Baloch,19, son of Sher Muhammad, a student at Bolan University in the Commerce Faculty was arrested on 3rd July 2009 by F.C from Luc Pas, Quetta. Fazal Baloch, a 19 year old resident of Proom village, Punjgur district, was traveling to Punjgur by bus. He also was a member of B.S.O Azaad. According to his father, after his son was arrested, he was tortured. His physical and mental condition remains very serious. After the torture he was admitted to the Civil Hospital for two days after which he was handed over to the Crime Branch of anti terrorist force (A.T.F.) from Quetta. This took place late at night. In the hospital he told to his relatives that he was forced to confess that India is funding Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

Mr. Iqbal Baloch, 21, a student of Khuzdar College, Khuzdar district, was arrested by frontier constabulary (FC) on 18 July, 2009. His whereabouts are unknown. The district police are denying his arrest.

Nationalist groups and family members of the disappeared persons say that the Pakistani government is arresting students and young people with the aim to get confessions from them for alleged statements against India for its involvement in Balochistan’s insurgency. After the legal case started in India against Ajmal Kassab, the only survivor of the Islamic terrorists group, which killed 166 persons in Bombay, India, the government of Pakistan has started blaming foreign influences in Balochistan since December of last year.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan succeeded in putting the name of India in a context of meddling in Balochistan affairs. This was seen in the Joint statement issued on July 16, 2009, when both prime ministers met at Sharm-el-Sheikh in Egypt. After registration of the accusation against India, the authorities started a new round of arrests with disappearances to get confessions through statements made against India.

The Asian Human Rights Commission urges the government of Pakistan, especially the Balochistan province, to stop the arrest of students and young people and the keeping of them in incommunicado. The parents of the abducted children, who remain missing after their arrests, made an assertion. They said the government wanted statements against India for their involvement in Balochistan by way of coerced confessions. There is a grave need for law enforcement agencies to be pressured to follow the rule of law. They need to operate according to civilian laws which allow for proper methods of investigation before arrest and warrants for arrest.

Dam breach renders 15,000 homeless in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least 15,000 people were rendered homeless after torrential rain caused a breach in the under-construction Damani dam in the Barkhan district on Wednesday night.

More than a dozen villages in the district are reported to have been submerged by the water gushing out of the reservoir. According to reports reaching here, over 1,200 hectares of agricultural land has been inundated.

The dam is located around 17km from Barkhan. ‘The government has shifted the affected people to safe places and lunched a relief operation,’ Barkhan’s District Nazim Habibullah Khetran told Dawn.

There was no casualty because people began moving out of their villages when the reservoir started overflowing, he added.

Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani has asked the provincial disaster management authority to step up efforts to provide relief goods to the affected people.

‘Heavy monsoon rains are continuing in a vast area of northern Balochistan,’ a local administration official said.

A spokesman of the provincial irrigation department said a 25- to 30-foot breach had developed in the dam. He held the project’s contractor responsible for the breach.

Loralai Commissioner Haider Ali Shikoh said rescue and health teams had been sent to the area to provide help to the affected people. However, local people are complaining that they are still without shelter and food.

One of them, Raza Khetran, told Dawn on telephone that most of the affected people had spent a sleepless night in the open and the government had not provided anything to them so far.

Pak Allegations Are Baseless About Balochistan

No foreign help for Baloch struggle: BRP

QUETTA: The Baloch Republican Party has rejected the government’s allegations against its president, Nawabzada Barmdagh Bugti, and termed them an attempt to divert the world attention from the struggle for an independent Balochistan.

Sher Mohammad Bugti, a BRP spokesman, in a statement here on Wednesday also dismissed charges that India was providing assistance to Barmdagh Bugti, saying no foreign country was helping him. ‘The Baloch are fighting for their independence without any foreign help.’

He said massive arrests of party workers and atrocities against the Baloch people could not harm the struggle. ‘The government wanted to hide its atrocities perpetrated against the Baloch people from the world by launching a baseless propaganda,’ he added.

He said false cases were registered against Nawabzada Hairbyar Marri in London, but the British court freed him for want of proof.

He said arrests, kidnappings and killings of BRP workers and other Baloch people had become the order of the day.

The BRP spokesman appealed to the international community to take notice of what he called brutalities of security forces against the Baloch.

He said the authorities were not allowing the media to visit Dera Bugti and Marri because they were still no-go areas. ‘The international community should send independent observers to monitor the situation in these areas.’

UK: Tributes paid to Baloch martyrs as Baloch community observed “Baloch Martyrs Day”

London: First time in The UK Baloch community in London has organised “Baloch Martyrs Day” here on Sunday to pay homage to the Baloch martyrs, Baloch missing person and the torture victims of Iranian and Pakistani states, who sacrificed their lives during the just struggle for the birth right of Freedom of the people of Balochistan. A large number of pictures of Baloch martyrs, missing person and torture victims were displayed at the meeting.

A large number of Baloch from UK, and Europe have come to observe the Baloch martyrs day. Musician, painter and writer professor Khatchatur I. Pilikian, renowned Human Right activist and founder of CAMPACC Ms Estella and some other activist of Campaign against Criminalizing Communities also attended the Baloch Martyrs day.

The meeting was chaired by Ismael Amiri of Balochistan National Movement (Zrombesh), Khan of Kalat Mr Suleiman Dawood and exiled Baloch leader Sardarza Hyrbyair Marri were the special guests of the meeting. Others who spoke at the occasion included Jamshed Amiri of (Balochistan United Front), Akbar Barakzai of (BHRC – UK), Raheem Bandoi of (Balochistan peoples’ Party), Masood Baloch of (Balochistan Liberation Organisation), Triq Baloch, Waja Hassan Hamdam and Mr Reza Hussein Bhorr.

Jamshed Amiri paid tributes to the Baloch Martyrs and said that they have sacrificed their lives for a prosperous and independent country for their next generations. He hoped that Baloch in exile will continue to raise their voice against the Iranian and Pakistani atrocities on all available forums. He strongly condemned execution of 13 sunni Baloch by the Iranian regime. He said that the World should take notice such crimes of the Iranian government.

Waja Akbar Barakzai said that Baloch Martyrs have been physically separated from us but they are still alive in our hearts and minds. He said that Baloch Martyrs laid their precious lives for us (Baloch people) and our future generations. “They sacrificed their lives so that we can live with pride and dignity”, Waja Akbar said. He said the aim of Baloch Martyrs was an Independent country and we the struggle for Independence shall continue. He requested all Baloch parties inside and outside Balochistan to forget their petty difference and unite for common cause of Liberation. He said that Baloch people and activists were united and but the leadership need to unite.

Khan of Kalat Mr Sulieman Dawood Khan also like other speakers paid tributes to Baloch Martyrs. He stressed that Baloch should unite and form a “Council” which should continue to lobby for Baluchistan’s issue on international level. He said that our small social and political difference might exist but for the greater cause of Independence and for the interest of Baloch people we should put our difference aside and work together. He also said that for the Baloch people and for National interest of Balochistan he was willing to work with any Baloch (party or individual). He said he was ready to give the lead to Baloch people and would happily follow them. He said it was must to form a united “council” to work together at least at one point “Baluchistan’s Independence”. “At the very least we should agree on a one point agenda and struggle for National Independence”. He said.

Tariq Sabru Baloch said that Baloch Martyrs did not sacrifice their lives for provincial autonomy or a seat in parliament. Their only aim and objective was to gain an Independent state for our children. He said that Baloch needed to draw the line between those openly asking for Independence and those just issuing ambiguous statements. He said Baloch Diaspora can play a vital role to bring Baluchistan’s issue to the world attention. “This is the era of Information Technology and we the Baloch “in Diaspora” have the opportunity and freedom to raise our voices against the brutal states which have occupied our country”, he added. He said currently he cannot even answer his own ten year old child who always asks “Dad everyone has a country why don’t we have one?”

Raheem (Bandoi) Baloch paid tributes to Baloch martyrs and hoped that Baloch in UK, elsewhere in world and in Balochistan will continue to observe the National day of Baloch Martyrs in the years to come. He too like previous speakers stressed that unity should be the main objective of Baloch Nation in order to get the right and freedom.

Masood Baloch said that “today we all gathered here to pay our respects to the Martyrs of Nation and remember their sacrifices. The best way to respect and honour their sacrifices is to follow the path for which they sacrificed their lives”

Reza Hussein Borr said that everything has a price and the price of Independence is that people have to pay with their lives. We have to work practically for the cause of liberation. He said that we cannot liberate Balochistan by just issuing statements and not doing anything practically. “If you want to buy something you need to pay a price, you cannot get that only because you wish you should have it”, he said.

Waja Hasaan Hamdam Baloch also paid rich tributes to the Martyrs of Baloch Nation. He said that the Baloch struggle for independence cannot be weaken by killing and abducting Baloch youth and leaders. Such brutal action of Iranian and Pakistani regime will further provoke Baloch youth to join the ranks of Baloch caravan for Independence. He said that brutal regimes of Bhutto and Shah of Iran could not eliminate the Baloch struggle and now the current Pakistani and Iranian regime will also be failed to finish the Baloch peoples’ struggle for their fundamental right of freedom.

Sardarzada Hyrbyair Marri also paid tributes to Baloch Martyrs and said that we should intensify our struggle for Independence on National and International level. International Community must help us to raise our voice against human rights violation in Balochistan by both Iran and Pakistan. Mr Marri suggested that Baloch in UK and elsewhere in world should observe 11th August as the “National day” of Balochistan. “Though we were occupied by Pakistan later on, but on 11th August we had announced our Independence and we should celebrate our day of Independence as we do not accept the forced annexation of our country with Pakistan.

Text of Hyrbair Marri’s speech: First of all I would like to pay my humble tributes to Baloch Martyrs who lived and died for the nation and for the cause of National liberation. They sacrificed their lives for their people, for their motherland, for the generations to come. Those who have sacrificed their precious lives had only one aim that was united and Independent Balochistan. From Prince Abdul Karim khan to Nawab Akbar Bugti, Shaheed Balach, Shaheed Dr Khalid, Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad abd other thousands of Baloch martyrs had only one aim which was to re-gain their independent and sovereign status. Balochistan has never been a part of Pakistan and Baloch people will never accept Pakistan’s and Iran’s supremacy on Baloch land. The struggle that our forefathers had started is still continued and will continue until we get to our destination “Independent Balochistan”.

I strongly condemn the execution of 13 Baloch prisoners by the Iranian regime. Most of these people were extradited from Eastern occupied Balochistan by the Pakistani government. That is why Iran and Pakistan both are responsible for this heinous crime against humanity. The International community must take notice of this barbaric act of Iran and Pakistan. Baloch residing on both sides of artificial border ‘drawn though Balochistan’ must unite and stand up to these ruthless regimes. Baloch must intensify their struggle for their democratic and human rights including right to freedom. Freedom is the fundamental right of every nation.

I also strongly condemn the illegal act of forced disappearances in Balochistan. Currently there are thousands of Baloch missing from Pakistan occupied Balochistan and hundreds of Baloch waiting to be executed by the Iranian regime in Iranian occupied Balochistan. The missing people include women, children, students, teachers and political activists. They suffer most gruesome torture at the hands of Pakistani intelligence agencies. Sadly the international community has failed to pressurise Pakistan to bring all those missing Baloch to surface. International community has also so far ignored the Balochistan conflict with Pakistan and Iran. Thousands of civilian have been killed but the international champions of human rights and democracies remained silent over the death and destruction of Baloch people. Today we once again urge the International Community including UN and EU to take notice of Pakistani and Iranian atrocities in Balochistan and help us raise our voice against such atrocities.

Another urgent matter that needs International attention is forced-displaced people, who are living in terrible conditions with no safe drinking water, shelter and medication. The Pakistani government and the Pakistani media do not give any coverage to the displaced people of Balochistan but they are giving full coverage to the IDPs of NWFP which shows the clear biasness of the media toward Baloch people. UNHCR must act quickly to accommodate those living under open skies in appalling conditions.

Finally I would like to ask the Baloch Diaspora in Europe, America and everywhere else to raise awareness regarding Balochistan issue, which is clear that Balochistan was forcefully annexed with Pakistan and that our struggle is to re-gain our Independent status. In other words the only solution of Balochistan issue is “national liberation”. We all should unite and work for one goal that is Ajoi, Azaadi Independence.

Thank you

Dr Mustafa Baloch, who was also one of the organiser of the meeting, speaking at the occasion, said that Baloch are living under tyranny of two states that are being run by crooks and criminals. He said that the very basic foundation of Pakistan and Iran is weak and based on an unjust system. Mafias from generals, Mullahs and other dictators have been in power in these states, which have no respects for human rights and values for human lives. Baloch peoples’ democratic and human rights including the right to self-determination have been violated by these occupying states that is why now Baloch people are left with the final demand of an independent state. Baloch need a state where Baloch can practice and maintain their culture, language and judiciary system. Baloch will have a system which will be acceptable to everyone and guarantee the basic and equal right i.e. political, religious and economic right to all people living in Balochistan.

Another Baloch man abducted by Pakistani agencies

Quetta: Sources reported that Pakistani agencies abducted another Baloch from in front of district Jail huddah Quetta here on Thursday morning (16/07-2009). According to details Fazal Khan Marri went to visit one of his jailed relatives in Hudda jail and after the visit as soon as he came out of the main gate of prison, he was abducted by the personal of Pakistani intelligence agencies. Fazal Khan Marri is a resident of New Kahan [also known as Marri camp]. He is a daily wages worker and father of two children.

It is worth noting that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies have recently increased their illegal activities in Balochistan, dozens of Baloch students, political activists and common daily wages workers have been abducted and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Despite appeals and plea from the family of missing person and continued protests in Balochistan the Pakistani higher courts including the Supreme Court of Pakistan have not been able to do anything regarding missing Baloch. International Human Rights Organisations and the so called civilised international community have also been silent on Pakistan and Iran’s atrocities against innocent and defenseless Baloch civilians. It is a shame that Western superpowers claim to be champions of human right and democracy but they are silent on the violations of Baloch peoples’ democratic and human rights.

Chakar Qambar Is Another Allah Nazar

Chakar Qamber produced to session court , two employees of BMC abducted

Quetta: Baloch missing student Chakar Qamber has been produced to a session court in Quetta here on Tuesday. Sources reported that he has been accused of terrorism charges. Balochistan students Organisations term the charges as “fake”. They said Chakar Qamber did not commit any crime and he is a dedicated and hard working student. The students alleged that the IT college administration has complained against Chakar Qambar because he was against the biased policies of the Vice Principal of the college.

The eye-witnesses had said that Chakar Qamber looked very weak and he could not walk properly. He was carried by the police officials while alighting and getting on the police vehicle, this obviously proves that he has suffered gruesome torture at the hands of Pakistani police. Sources said that after the hearing Chakar Qambar was again taken to an unknown location and he was not provided with any medications.

On the other hand illegal abductions continue in Balochistan, two employees of Balochistan Medical College have been “arrested” and “disappeared” while they were on their way to hospital.

According to reports two employees of BMC Mr Manzoor Baloch and Sikander Baloch have been abducted on Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 pm, while they were on their way to hospital to perform their duties. Both the men have been taken to undisclosed locations and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Baloch Students Action Committee, B.M.C., in a statement strongly condemned the abduction of Sikander Baloch and Manzoor Baloch.

1) Manochar Shah Baksh s/o Akbar
2) Mohammad Hassan Shahozai s/o Shey Mohammad
3) Abdul Rashid Hamidi s/o Hassan
4) Yaqoub Ghamshadzai s/o Alauk
5) Abdul Basit Shehaki s/o Qaim
6) Abdul Qudos Didan Naroi s/o Jumma Khan
7) Abdul Sabor Rakhshan s/o Abdul Ghafoor
8) Abdullah Wafai s/o Jan Mohammad

10) Tariq Abadiyan s/o Dad Mohammad
11) Yahya Regi s/o Abdul Wahid
12) Khalil Regi s/o Abdul Latif
13) Adraes Notainzai s/o Ibrahim

TEHRAN (AFP) — In a mass prison execution, Iran hanged 13 rebels from the shadowy Sunni insurgent group Jundallah as "enemies of God" for a string of attacks, including kidnapping of foreigners.

The official IRNA news agency said the insurgents were executed in prison in the restive southeastern border city of Zahedan, epicentre of a Sunni Muslim rebellion against the Shiite regime in Tehran.

"Thirteen members of this group were hanged this morning," provincial judiciary chief Ebrahim Hamidi was quoted as saying.

The rebels were accused of being "mohareb" (enemies of God) and of "kidnapping foreigners, killing innocents and of carrying out terrorist acts for the Jundallah group," IRNA said, quoting a local judiciary statement.

State media had announced on Monday that 14 members of Jundallah (Soldiers of God) would be publicly executed on Tuesday.

"After last minute consultations, the executions were carried out in a prison," Hamidi said.

The media had also reported that Abdolhamid Rigi, brother of Jundallah leader Abdolmalik Rigi, was one of the rebels to be executed. Hamidi said Abdolhamid Rigi was not among those hanged on Tuesday but would be executed later this week.

Zahedan is the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan province, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan and is home to a sizeable ethnic Baluchi population.

Jundallah has claimed repeated attacks against Iranian government targets in the province which lies on a major trafficking route for narcotics destined for Europe and the Gulf.

In the latest major strike, Jundallah claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing on a Shiite mosque in Zahedan in May that killed 25 people, saying it was a revenge attack for the hanging of members of the Baluch minority.

The mass hangings on Tuesday come 10 days after 20 drug traffickers were executed in the town of Karaj, west of Tehran.

It is rare even in Iran, which according to human rights group Amnesty International carried out more executions than any other country apart from China in 2008, to execute such a large number of people in a single day.

In July last year, 29 people convicted of various crimes including murder, rape and drugs trafficking were executed in the largest mass execution in recent years.

Amnesty had urged the Iranian authorities to halt the Jundallah executions, saying the rebels had not received a fair trial.

"The Iranian authorities must abide by their international obligations to uphold human rights and guarantee fair trials, which is all the more essential in death penalty cases," the London-based watchdog's Middle East and North Africa director Malcolm Smart said.

Amnesty said all the accused were believed to have been arrested before the deadly attack on the Zahedan mosque, for which three people were hanged in May.

The latest hangings bring to at least 177 the number of people executed in the Islamic republic so far this year, according to an AFP count based on news reports. In 2008, Iran executed 246 people.

Tehran says the death penalty is a necessary tool for maintaining public security and is only applied after exhaustive judicial proceedings.

Murder, rape, armed robbery, drugs trafficking and adultery are all punishable by death in Iran.

Iran gives death penalty to 12 Sunni Baloch

Balochistan: Iranian regime has decided to execute 12 Baloch accused of being members of Jundullah (now turned BPRM Baloch Peoples’ Resistance Movement). Abdul Hamid Regi and Molawi Abed Gwahramzahi are among the twelve to be hanged by the end of this week. Name of ten others are not known yet.

"The revolutionary court and the appeals court voted for the execution of 12 members of the Jundullah group over the charge of moharebeh (waging war against God)," ISNA news agency quoted Head of Sistan-Baluchistan judiciary office Ebrahim Hamidi as saying on Saturday.

Past two years the Iranian regime executed or shot dead over 200 Baloch. Sadly the International Human Rights Organisations did not voice any concerned on the gross human right violations in Balochistan.

Spokesman of AIM said Pakistani forces are preparing for a Major Military operation in new kahan. Two weeks ago two helicopters of Pakistani occupied forces flew over new khan at a very low altitude and filmed the entire area. The hulligans from the FC have raided the Marri Jirga hall – a place where the Elder of the area would come together and resolve small matters. During the raid they took off Balochistan flag and two FC personal slipped were injured while lowering the flag of Independent Balochistan.

New kahan is under their watch of from last nine years, they have carried out several military operations in New kahan. Around 1500 innocent Marri Balochs were picked up by Pakistani intelligence agencies ISI and MI from during these nine years. Recently a contractor Jumma Khan aka Kaka Marri had been kidnapped by Pakistani agencies from new kahan. All these atrocities of Pakistani army are tactics to enslave Baloch people but we want to tell Pakistan that Baloch had nothing to do with Pakistan from beginning.

A Baloch mother suffers from mental distress for her son

Quetta: The father of illegally abducted Fareed Baloch Mr. Amanullah Baloch went on a press conference and stated that Fareed’s mother is suffering from mental instability because of the uncertainty of her son's conditions and whereabouts.

Fareed Baloch, a student of Masters in Computer science Balochistan University, and an I.T. in charge of an N.G.O. named “Taraqi Foundation”, was abducted by the secret agencies of Pakistan from his office on 13 February 2009. There was no information regarding his whereabouts until recently released Shahzeb Baloch disclosed that he had seen Fareed in a torture cell where he was being severely tortured, both mentally and physically. According to Mr Baloch’s statement Fareed Baloch was suffering from mental illnesses due to the severe torture inflicted on him.

Amanullah Baloch, who also is physically disabled, in the press conference said that due to his son’s disappearance his whole family, especially himself and his wife [Fareed’s mother] are in a state of mental distress and that he couldn’t understand why his son [Fareed] was being tortured severely from last five months and he has not been produced in front of any court. Several Baloch websites blocked in Pakistan including official websites of student and political parties

Balochistan Pakistan has renewed the ban on Baloch political, cultural and musical websites. It is a shame on one hand paksitani government make big claims about FREEDOM OF PRESS AND EXPRESSON on the hand they have blocked all BALOCH WEB SITE FROM VIEWING IN PAKISTAN. It is widely believed that Paksitani authorities have blocked Baloch websites to hide its gross human rights violation in Balochistan.

This must also be taken in consideration that there has been predictions of a massive military operation in Balochistan from time to time by the Baloch activists working for freedom, and these predictions seem to be true after observing the consecutive steps of Pakistan army, which include the abduction and target killing of the Baloch student and political leaders and attempts to show the Baloch activists to the world as Taliban militants, so that the mass murder of freedom loving Baloch people can be justified in the name of so called "War on Terror".

The Baloch web pages which are blocked are not only political web pages, but cultural sites have also been victimized, which can be viewed as an attempt to weaken the efforts of Baloch people to promote their language, music, literature and national identity.

The following Baloch websites have been blocked in Pakistan. It must be noted that some of the websites were already blocked in Pakistan since 2005 during Musharraf’s period. The PPP government has just renewed the ban following Musharraf's policies in Balochistan. We should remind Pakistan that the voices of truth and justice cannot be silenced at gunpoint. The Baloch youth inside and outside Balochistan will continue to expose Pakistan and Iran’s atrocities against the people of Balochistan at all cost. Baloch struggle for national liberation cannot be weaken by such acts of the brutal states of Iran and Pakistan.

Another member of BSO (azaad) has been abducted

Quetta - Fazal Baloch student of Degree College Quetta and a senior member of BSO (azaad) Shall Zone has been abducted by the Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan. According to reports Fazal Baloch was kidnapped while he was going to Panjgur to visit his parents from shall [Quetta] on a bus. The bus was stopped at an FC check post on the way and student Fazal Baloch was forcefully taken away by Pakistani Frontier Corps (FC). Fazal Baloch is only 18 and a student of Bachelors in Commerce.

It must be noted that several BSO (azaad) members have already been abducted by the Pakistani intelligence agencies, including the senior vice chairman of BSO (azaad) Mr Zakir Majeed Baloch.

Despite repeated appeals from the Baloch political parties and student organisation the UN and other International Human Rights Organisation have so far did not take any serious action against the Pakistani and Iranian atrocities against the Baluch people. Even Baloch Human Right Council [BHRC] who is supposedly advocating against human violations in Balochistan by the Pakistani and Iranian authorities, has so far remained silent on the abduction of innocent Baloch student and political activists.

Currently forced disappearances and forced displacement are the most serious issue in Balochistan. The so called democratic government and the judiciary of Pakistani have failed to produce the missing Baloch and rehabilitate the forced displaced Baloch.

Mach Jail- Deputy Superintendent’s Barbaric torture on Baloch Prisoners

Quetta: According to Daily Tawar [Balochistan’s National newspaper] and the family members of a prisoner Mir Maluk Marri Baloch the Deputy Jail superintendent named Tariq Mehmood tortures the Baloch prisoners in Mach Jail on racial grounds, using all the possible ways of mental and physical torture. Above all he is not allowing the family members to visit the prisoners inside because he fears that his inhuman and illegal actions will be exposed if the prisoners tell the visitors of the critical conditions of themselves and the torture at the hands of the superintendent.

According to the family members of Maluk Baloch the last time they were allowed to visit Maluk Marri he complained about the Jail administration and their racial behaviour toward Baloch prisoners, The family members have said that Maluk was beaten in front of them and dragged away from them while he was explaining the conditions he is facing inside. The family members and Maluk Baloch were abused on racial basis and were threatened of dire consequences if they leaked out the "inside story".

It should also be taken in consideration that similar kind of behaviour of the Deputy Superintendent was also exposed by Baloch Republican Party previously, which said that Dr. Aaqil Bugti Baloch and his friends are facing severe torture in Mach Jail and the cause behind this is the prejudice the Jail officials have about the Baloch, they believe Baloch to be American and Indian agents trying to destabilize the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, this kind of prejudices prevail throughout Pakistani Armed forces.

Mach Jail is an "official" place to keep the "Baloch" prisoners keeping aside the underground torture cells of Pakistan Army which cross the figure of 150 throughout Pakistan, and majority of the victims of these torture cells are Sons, Daughters, Children, and older people of Baloch Nation, being tortured for the core reason of being a Baloch and asking for the birth right of Independence.

All the political parties of Baloch working for the Independence of Balochistan and humanity recorded their consent for the torture victims around the world, particularly with the torture being carried out with Maluk and Aaqil Baloch in Mach Jail.

Baloch Students Organization (Azad) Mach zone in a press release stated that it seems hard to convince the human rights activists around the world that Baloch are human beings as well, they have rights as well but hope should always accompany every person working for humanitarian causes around the world and Baloch nation would not halt its freedom movement due to such tortures rather our believe in our cause gets stronger as we keep on hearing the barbarism of the occupiers of Balochistan.
