Railway track blown up in Quett, one hurt in Dera Bugti blast


Quetta: A portion of railway track was blown up near Degree College Quetta – capital of Balochistan, late Tuesday night. According to details an explosive device had been placed under the track near the degree college in the Sariab area, which exploded with a big bang creating panic in the area. The blast cut of rail link of Quetta to rest the country.

Meanwhile a man identifying himself as the spokesman of Lashkar-e-Balochistan a previously little known Baloch resistance organisation, claimed the responsibility for blowing up the railway track in Quetta. The spokesman Mr Lavang Baloch said that his organisation will continue such attacks until the Independence of Balochistan.

In a separate incident of a landmine explosion one man has suffered serious injuries in Peer Koh area of Dera Bugti. Source said that he was walking alongside that road when he stepped over a landmine that was planted by unknown person (s). He has been taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition
