Three security men killed, three hurt in Quetta attack
QUETTA: Three security personnel were killed and three others were injured when unidentified men attacked two security vehicles on Spiny Road and at Goli Maar Chowk late on Friday. Local authorities confirmed that three FC (frontier corps) men died and three other received injuries. The police cordoned off the area and started searching for the attackers. Separately, three people were injured in a blast near Burma hotel on Saryab Road on late Friday. The blast occurred soon after a security vehicle passed the area.
On the other hand daily Dunya (Urdu news paper) in Quetta reported that BLUF has claimed the responsibility for the attacks and said that both the vehicles were attacked using remote controlled devices. BLUF claimed that several FC men died in the attack and around a dozen has been injured. The Organization vowed to continued such attacks till (according them) the liberation of Balochistan.
Separately a bombed went off in the Municipal office in Turbat. According to details the bomb was planted in the nearby staff office that went off and heavily damaged the office. No loss of life has been reported in this attack. In another incident a settler Aamir was shot dead in kalato region in Turbat. Aamir belong to Lodhran district of Punjab. BLF spokesman Bashaam Baloch claimed the responsibility for the attack and the blast in Turbat.
