Women and children beaten for protesting.
A famous Baloch poet, intellectual and writer Mr. Ali Jaan Qaumi has been abducted from his house in Nazirabad, along with his young son Mujahid Qaumi, by Pakistan’s security forces, early this morning (4th September). Mr. Ali Jaan’s family members were immensely beaten by the forces and were threatened of deadly consequences for revealing the incident, women and children of the family got injured due to the thrashing of the Pakistani forces.
The news of the abduction spread throughout Balochistan and protests started against this act of Pakistan, one such protest was held in Turbat where the women protested against the atrocities of Pakistan army in front of the Frontier Corps (Pakistani force) camp, and chanted pro independence slogans. In response Pakistan’s security forces started beating the protestors, who were mainly children and women and as a result two women and four of the children fainted out due to their injuries. The injured people were not even allowed to have first aid and are still being humiliated by the forces, according to the latest received reports by Sagaar.
