Former organizer of Baloch Student Organization Azaad, Mujeeb Wali Baloch has been arrested by Pakistan army in Mand. This incident took place in the morning while Mr. Mujeeb Baloch was on his way to Turbat, he was stoped and arrested at Gwak checkpost and his where about is still unknown. As this news reached the residents of Mand, women of Mand walked towards the F.C. camp and demanded Mujeeb Baloch’s safe release. These days a fear has grown among the hearts of the family members of the arrested people that they too might face a similar fate as Shaheed Ghulaam Muhammed Baloch (President B.N.M.) and Ghulaam Rasool Baloch (Joint Secretary B.N.M.), who were martyred after similar arrests by Pakistan forces. After the successive incidents of human rights abuses in the nearby areas of Mand, the people of Mand have developed even more hate against colonial rulers, which has increased the intensity and the number of protests in that area, in reaction fresh forces are reported to arrive at Mand and the number of forces is also being increased. Though the protests are being intensified but continuous silence of United Nations on the situation in Balochistan might compel the people to take in hand every opportunity to safeguard their lifes.
