Attacks on Pakistani security forces, six person including four officials injured


Quetta: Balochistan national newspapers reported that Pakistani security forces have been attacked in different areas in Balochistan. The Saryab station house officer (SHO) and two other policemen were injured in a hand-grenade attack on a police van on the Sabzal Road, on Tuesday.

According to police, SHO Jamil Marri was on routine patrol in the area when unidentified persons hurled a hand-grenade at his vehicle. As a result, all three police officials sustained injuries and were admitted to the hospital.

In the second incident a hand grenade was hurled on the house of a Balochistan Constabulary personal Mr Khuda Bux in Mano Jan road region in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. The blast heavily damaged the house of the official. Three persons sustained injuries as a result.

In a separate incident in Noshki unidentified people threw a hand-grenade on the house of a staff of Live Stock department, Mr Mohammad Tayab. His house was partially damaged due to the blast but no casualty has been reported.

Meantime a powerful blast has been heard in the Mastung Town in Balochistan but the security forces could not locate the exact spot of the blast. Attacks also have been reported on Pakistani security personal in Thump, Mand and Gwader areas. However no losses have been reported so far.
